gWind™ Wired Wind Sensor
- 3-bladed propeller gives more accurate True Wind Speed (TWS) in lighter air
- Twin-fin design delivers a more stable True Wind Angle (TWA)
- Optical reading provides superior performance at low wind speeds with excellent linearity
- GND™ 10 black box bridges NMEA 2000® data to the Nexus Network, so Garmin-compatible chartplotters can work with Nexus sail equipment and vice versa
- Simple plug-and-play installation between Nexus, Garmin chartplotters, NMEA 2000 and USB
The gWind transducer pairs twin-fin technology with a 3-bladed propeller. The propeller gives more accurate TWS in lighter air, and the twin fins give a more stable TWA. Unlike a cup design, the 3-bladed propeller stays efficient at all times, and together with optical reading it delivers superior accuracy at low wind speeds plus excellent linearity.
The included GND 10 black box bridge lets the Nexus Network and compatible Garmin chartplotters share critical NMEA 2000 data, so Garmin chartplotter owners can use Nexus sail equipment and vice versa. Available in 2 bundles (sold separately).

Airmar® DST820 Smart Transducer
This plastic thru-hull NMEA 2000® smart transducer combines precise depth, speed and temperature readings with attitude sensing for heel/trim and pitch/roll data. It reads depths to 330 feet and puts out a fast 5 Hz water speed signal for smoother display on compatible chartplotters and other displays.
Bluetooth® wireless connectivity makes it easy to manage sensor calibration through the AIRMAR Cast™ app. Its 235 kHz operating frequency helps prevent interference with other echosounders on board, and its wide, fan-shaped 10 x 44 degree beam finds bottom even on steep deadrise hulls or heeling sailboats.
DST820 Specifications
- Frequency: 235 kHz
- Power: 100 W
- Beamwidth: 10 x 44 degrees
- Maximum depth: 330 ft
- Readings: Depth, temperature and speed
- Connection: NMEA 2000
